Evtozef is an antifungal agent for topical (cutaneous) use.
Each ml contains:
Active ingredient: Naftifine hydrochloride 10 mg.
Excipients: propylene glycol, ethanol (96 per cent), water purified.
Fungal infections of the skin or skin folds
(Tinea corporis, Tinea inguinalis);
• Mycotic infections of the foot, especially interdigital, sole and nail infections (onychomycosis);
• Mycotic infections of the hand, located interdigitally and in the nails (onychomycosis);
• Candida skin infections;
• Pityriasis versicolor.
Route of administration: dermal.
• Evtozef, cutaneous solution should be applied once daily to the affected skin area after cleansing and drying the area beforehand.
• To prevent recurrence, treatment should be continued 2 weeks after clinical healing. Duration of treatment: for dermatomycosis – 2-4 weeks (if necessary – up to 8 weeks); for candidiasis – 4 weeks; for nail infections – up to 6 months.
• In fungal nail diseases it is recommended to take the drug twice a day.
• Before the first application, the affected part of the nail should be removed as far as possible with scissors or a file (to facilitate this procedure, on the recommendation of a doctor, the nails can be treated with a special emollient).
