Clears blocked nasal passages, allowing patients suffering from a blocked nose to breathe more easily through the nose.
-Galeks 0.5 mg/ml nasal spray: Each ml contains:
Active ingredient:
Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg. Excipients: benzalkonium chloride solution, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, water purified.
-Galeks 1 mg/ml nasal spray: Each ml contains: Active ingredient:
Xylometazoline hydrochloride 1 mg.
Excipients: benzalkonium chloride solution, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium chloride, water purified.
Galeks is used for symptomatic treatment in:
– acute rhinitis of viral or bacterial etiology;
– acute sinusitis or exacerbation of chronic recurrent sinusitis;
– allergic rhinitis;
– acute otitis media – to restore Eustachian tube patency.
Nasal administration.
Galeks 0.5 mg/ml, nasal spray:
Children aged 3-12 years: One spray in each nostril 2-3 times daily.
Galeks1 mg/ml, nasal spray:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: One spray in each nostril 2-3 times daily.
Maximum duration of treatment – 7 days.
When administering the preparation, retropulsion of the head is not recommended.
