Vegaderm ointment is used where an infection has developed, presenting with redness, irritation and worsening of the condition.
– The active substances in 1 g ointment are betamethasone dipropionate, equivalent to betamethasone of 0.500 mg, clotrimazole of 10.0 mg, gentamicin sulphate, equivalent to
gentamicin of 1.0 mg.
– The other ingredients (excipients) are paraffin, liquid and paraffin, white soft.
Vegaderm ointment is used in adults and children over 3 years for the treatment of a variety of skin
inflammations (dermatitis and eczema), suitable for corticosteroid therapy, where an infection has
developed, presenting with redness, irritation and worsening of the condition.

+ The recommended dose is:
• Adults: A small amount of the product is applied twice daily on the affected skin.
• Children and adolescents: Side effects, associated with the use of the product, are more common in children; therefore, it should only be used under the exact instructions of the physician.
• Elderly: No dose adjustment is required in the elderly.
Method of administration
The product is applied in a thin layer, possibly through a gentle massage. The smallest amount of the
ointment should be used, sufficient to achieve an effect.
After applying the medicine, wash your hands thoghroughly. Thus, you will avoid possible entering of
even small amounts of the ointment in the eyes.
